SecOps, FinOps, PerfOps, AIOps... in one workspace

OpsGuru discovers assets in your cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-prem/hybrid deployments (VMware, Hyper-V and bare metal)

  • Analyzes their security posture and ensures policy-driven manual or auto remediation
  • Provides guidance to optimize cloud spend for your assets
  • Draws insights into the performance of the apps running across the assets

Read-only cloud connectors · vault-held credentials · agents stay in your network · you decide what to fix or cut

How It Works

Your Tools Stay Where They Are. OpsGuru Brings the Results Together.

A small agent runs next to the scanners you already trust and sends results back. Cloud accounts connect read-only. The goal is one picture security, finance and engineering can all explain.

Installed Tools or SecOps Native Tools

SecOps runs the security tools already installed in the tenant, and its native tools when the tenant has none.

Your Workspace, Your Rules

People, systems, scans and reports stay inside your workspace. Users & Groups decide who can change things and who can only look, with SSO via OIDC (Okta, Entra or Google).

One Way to Close Work

A security risk, a waste item, a missed target, an AI finding and a failed data check all move the same way: open, in progress, resolved or accepted, with someone named on it.

A Change You Can Defend

A cost cut sits next to the security and performance picture. A postmortem action becomes a finding in the practice that has to do the work.

What OpsGuru Will Not Promise

  • Installed scanners stay in place, and a tenant with none uses SecOps native tools.
  • Nor does it replace your live metrics platform or your paging tool.
  • AI answers point at evidence; a person still reviews anything that changes a system or the spend.

What Teams Say About OpsGuru

How teams describe running security, cost and platform work in one place.

  • “Finally one place for posture, findings and patch decisions, without handing scanners the keys to our network.”
    Alex RiveraHead of Security
  • “Daily-grain cost with eighteen months of history and topology that shows which app groups actually couple.”
    Priya ShahFinOps Lead
  • “Agents stay inside our VPC. Credentials never appear in the UI. That was the buying criteria.”
    Jordan LeePlatform Engineer
  • “DORA ingest from CI plus SLO probes in the same workspace as incident review.”
    Sam OkaforSRE Manager
  • “Shadow-AI endpoint registry without putting OpsGuru in our prompt path.”
    Mei TanakaAI Platform
  • “Freshness and schema-drift checks that store scalars only. No row data leaves the agent.”

FAQ

Questions Teams Ask Before They Connect an Account

Straight answers about data access, credentials, agents, clouds and AI privacy.

How does OpsGuru access my cloud and networks?

Cloud access is read-only. AWS accounts connect through a read-only connector that feeds inventory, cost and activity; Azure and GCP accounts connect through cloud credentials for scans. Scans, probes and SQL checks run through agents you deploy inside your network, so OpsGuru does not need inbound access to your VPC.

Where are credentials stored?

In a vault. Credentials are never displayed in the UI. They are resolved just-in-time when an agent or connector needs them, then discarded from memory.

Which clouds are supported today?

AWS, Azure and GCP. AWS uses a read-only connector for inventory, cost and posture; Azure and GCP are scanned through cloud credentials held in the vault. Agents cover hosts you run anywhere, including VMware, Hyper-V and bare metal.

What does the AI see? Are prompts stored?

The workspace AI bar helps with enrichment, auto-triage and natural-language queries over your OpsGuru data. For AIOps LLM governance, OpsGuru never sits in the prompt path: prompts and responses are stripped. DataOps stores scalar check results only; no row data ever persists.

Is IncidentOps a pager?

No. IncidentOps is for incident review and learning. Alerts group into incidents, you walk declare > triage > mitigate > resolve > close, and sev1/2 are postmortem-gated with tracked action items. On-call rosters and escalation webhooks are included; it is not a replacement for your paging tool.

Do you support SSO?

Yes. External Tools includes SSO via OIDC with Okta, Entra and Google.

Which security tools can feed SecOps?

OpsGuru supports 30+ connectors across different categories. Tools already visible in the product include Trivy, Prowler and CrowdStrike, alongside cloud posture frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, AWS Foundational, C5, CISA, ASD and CCC.

Does OpsGuru replace our scanners, monitoring or paging?

No. Agents run the scanners you already have and send results back. PerfOps is a scheduled check against targets you set, not a live metrics wall. IncidentOps keeps the record and the review; paging stays with your on-call tool, which escalation webhooks can notify.

How do we know which risk to fix first?

Each finding shows severity, whether it is known-exploited (KEV), its EPSS enrichment, how old it is, which system it sits on and who it is assigned to. AI auto-triage suggests an order. The score is a guide. A person still decides.

Can we trust an AI chat answer on its own?

No. The chat can miss something or get it wrong. Use it to reach the scan, the check or the bill faster. A person reviews anything that changes a system or the spend.

Does OpsGuru prove we are compliant or stop a breach?

No. It shows how you are doing against the frameworks and checks you turn on, with evidence and gaps. It does not issue a compliance certificate, and it does not promise a breach will not happen.

Can I start with one module?

Yes. The workspace is shared (Users & Groups, Inventory, Integrations and Docs), and you enable the Ops modules you need from the header switcher. Add FinOps, PerfOps, AIOps, IncidentOps or DataOps when you are ready.
